Chapters 1310 and 166 members ran a successful Young Eagles rally in September at Skylark Airpark. The flights that day give us over 200 rides for the year.

Members from Chapters 1310, 166, 324, 334 and 27 supported the Robertson Airport open house with Young Eagles flights. We're still sorting through the paperwork, but at least 94 children were flown by our volunteers.

44 New Young Eagles were flown on September 13th by 9 pilots including two who participated in the program for the first time.

Another beautiful day. We had about 60 people and 15 planes flew in for the event. The new grill worked out great. We could easily handle more people.

Our most successful pancake breakfast ever. We had 102 diners with us on a great January day. A big Thank You goes out to all the members who helped set up, cook and clean up for this event.

The Chapter, in association with the Windsor Locks FSDO and Skylark Airpark sponsored a Safety Seminar and Cookout on June 9. Low IFR conditions prevented anyone from flying in, but we had about 40 people learn about factors that make an aircraft worthy for flight.

An Airbus A380 visited Bradley Airport on October 2, 2007 for a visit to area industries that have provided components and services for the aircraft. I didn't get to the airport when it left at about 6AM the next day. It wouldn't have made very good photos in the dark anyway.

The AOPA Expo was held in our own back yard this year. Chapter 1310 was well represented. There were a lot of new small jets displayed, as well as a lot of light sport category planes.

The Simsbury Fly-In got delayed two weeks due to rain, and then got off to a slow start due to fog, but the weather cleared and the crowd came in.

Centennial of Flight celebration at Kill Devil Hills, NC.

Taken on Sunday December 15, 2003. It was wet that day. Very, very wet. The Temptations performance was moved inside, and the air show was cancelled. The crowd was very light.
