EAA 1310 Autumn Fly-In and FAASTeam Seminar

Recent NTSB and FAA studies that feature some interesting findings with respect to pilots and medications. Is there a problem with flying while taking medications and is there a problem with taking multiple drugs? What about self medicating with Over The Counter Medications,
are they safe? What is the risk? We will review some accidents that were linked to flying impaired. Finally we will offer some tips for safe flying while on medication. Let's learn from the mistakes of others!

EAA Tent at the Simsbury Fly-In

Young Eagles Flights
Saturday October 8 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

We will be providing complementary introductory flights to kids 8 - 17 years of age at Skylark Airpark, 54 Wells Road, East Windsor, CT

While no advance reservation is needed, we ask that you send a message to so we can be sure to have enough pilots available.

Fly in to see the new Skylark Airpark.

The runway, taxiways, ramp areas and parking lot will be reconstructed and repaved by the time of this event.
The east end of the runway that was an overrun area will be paved giving a full 3200 foot length.

Our Mission

Our chapter is committed to providing education and support for the homebuilding, restoration and design of recreational aircraft. We provide resources for aviation safety and encouragement for learning to fly.

New members and visitors are always welcome. For more information on the chapter please contact the chapter officers through any method below, or stop by at the next meeting.

April through October on the 2nd Wednesday of the month 7-9PM.
November through March on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10AM.
There is no meeting in December.
