New Electric Aircraft Group Announced

The creation of the Electraft Aircraft Development Alliance was announced at the Electric Aircraft Symposium at AirVenture this morning. The group will interface with government and industry to get practial electric aircraft into the market. They expect the organization to be migrated into an existing aviation organization in about 5 years when the industry matures. This group is meant to get the regulations in place for electric aircraft, and to assist in the cooperation of research organizations and industry.
